Some one really loved this bass! For your consideration a 1971 Fender Jazz bass in sunburst. Seems like some one just couldn’t put this bass down! We don’t blame them. Super comfortable neck that has only gotten better with age. It has that wonderful broken in feeling that you look for in vintage guitars. The weight is perfect for a bass, comfortably play a set with out aggravation. Great vintage tone. Full round bass notes but retains the articulation attack of a good Jazz bass. Absolutely love a Jazz bass with black block inlays!

Specs! Fantastic 1 piece maple neck with a depth of .83″ at the first fret and .98″ at the 12th fret. Maple fingerboard with a 7.25″ radius. Black block inlays. Frets are original but very low; plays great but will need a re-fret if you prefer them to be taller. Original Fender tuners. New Corian nut measuring 1.5″. Alder body finish in a 3-tone sunburst. Original pick ups. The solder has been touched up but parts are all original. Original bridge. Weighs 8 pounds and 8.5 ounces. Some shrinkage on the pick guard. Comes with its original hard shell case.

For a long time the Jazz Bass has been one of the most iconic bass’s on the market. It’s versatility makes it perfect for an individual who needs to lay back in the pocket and stand out in front and lead the band. The iconic bridge pick up adds a great deal of presence. Would make a great addition to any recording studio. Perfect for many styles including Blues, Funk, Jazz and even Metal. This bass just can't wait to get back to into action!
