Description

Here's an absolutely killer vintage 1974 Fender Jazz Bass in original Black finish. It's custom color black and was finish over a Sunburst finish and it looks amazing. A nice and light and resonant example that has been loved and played.

Purchased from original owner who custom ordered this instrument in 1974. He took excellent care of it, and played it a lot...you can see it has been played and loved all these years.

Bass is completely original and comes with the original pickup covers and thumb rest inside the pocket. Pots are dated 1974 and the wiring is nice and clean and original. Original grey bottom pickups are super warm and round with classic vintage smooth Jazz Bass tone. Original owner put some copper shielding inside the pocket under the guard, no routes or issues.

Neck is straight and plays fantastic. It's got a low action and no buzz or issues. Frets definitely have wear, but there's still life in them.

This is the Geddy Led Bass with pearl blocks.

A wonderful example for the player and collector alike.

Comes with vintage original hard case with orange interior. It's pretty beat up but it is original.
