1992 Fender Jazz Bass Plus Natural
I think it's the combination of a beautifully-grained Ash body, Kubicki active electronics, and Lace Sensor pickups that make this model one of our favorite Fender basses of all time. The tonal possibilities are practically endless and you can go from an aggressive, active growl to a dull Dub thump in mere seconds. The sleek Jazz bass neck is so easy on the left hand and with this one weighing in at 9 lbs, 7 oz, it's also gentle on the shoulders and back. Every Jazz Bass Plus we've ever had got our biggest thumbs up and this one certainly gets one as well.
This bass is nice and clean, having some light surface scratches on the front and back. While not too egregious, you can see them if you turn the bass into the reflection of an overhead light. You'll also see some wear in the finish down the sides of the neck, but these do not affect the playability of the bass. We've detailed the bass and restrung it with a fresh set of DR High Beams, gauges .45-.105, so it will arrive set up and ready to go. The original hardshell case is also clean and has been detailed.
