1959 Fender Jazzmaster – Sunburst
If every mark tells a story, you could write a book with this well-worn 1959 Fender Jazzmaster in Sunburst! This one still features its original gold anodized pickguard, something you’d expect on all first-year, early 1959 Jazzmasters. This one sports a January of ‘59 neck date and late 1958 potentiometers. Clearly, this guitar was played for many years, as evidenced by the finish wear and patina throughout the piece. Despite the wear, there are no modifications or repairs whatsoever, and all of the finish and hardware are original to the guitar. There’s undoubtedly some playwear to the frets and fretboard, with the clay dots taking on an unbelievably cool patina!
