Killer 1963 Fender Jazzmaster in its original and perfectly worn sunburst finish. One of the earlier examples to leave Fender in 1963 with a 4JAN63B neck stamp. It features an L series serial, spaghetti logo, clay dots, single line Kluson tuners, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, etc. With just the right amount of wear this instrument is road ready or would fit nicely in a collection. Comes complete with its original tremolo arm and brown hardshell case.
Case: Original brown hard shell case.
Weight: 8 pounds 7 ounces.
Condition: Overall in very good condition for its age. Plenty of good honest play wear, finish checking, buckle rash, dings, dents and finish chips.
Modifications: Buzz stop was removed after photos were taken, refret, 3-way switch and rhythm circuit switch have been replaced but originals are included. The pickguard was off of the guitar for a period of time and shrunk, the pickup routes had to be slightly widened to fit.
Comments: Great playing pre-CBS Jazzmaster!
