Summary: This is a beautiful example of a vintage Fender Jazzmaster that plays & sounds fantastic. This guitar has been refinished but it looks like it was stripped years ago – the natural finish on it now shows lots of wear & there is some very cool checking developing in various places on the guitar. This Jazzmaster ships with the original – very cool – blonde tolex hard shell case with all 3 latches still working!

Body: Alder offset contour body.

Neck: One-piece Maple bolt-on neck. Unbound veneer rosewood fretboard with pearl dot markers. 25.5” scale. 7.25” radius. 1 5/8” nut. The frets do show some wear but they still have some life left in them.

Pickups/Hardware: Two original Jazzmaster single-coil pickups in white plastic covers. Three-ply tortoiseshell plastic pickguard. Original Jazzmaster bridge and vibrato assembly with arm. Selector switch for rhythm or lead tone circuit. Three position pickup selector for lead circuit. Volume and tone roller controls for rhythm circuit. Chromed hardware. Kluson Deluxe tuners, six in a line.

Cosmetics: The original finish was stripped & so now you have this fabulous wood with lots of wear from being played & loved over the years. There are some big scratches on the guitar – one big ding on the upper bout of the guitar

Playability: This Fender has a new set of 10’s and the guitar plays great up & down the fingerboard. We checked the truss rod & it is fully functional!

Modifications: The original finish has been stripped but it was probably done a long time ago – this instrument finish shows lots of checking & cool vintage wear.

Weight: 8 lbs, 3 oz.

Case: This vintage Fender comes with the original hard shell case! This is a really beautiful blond tolex case with the nice orange interior.
