This guitar is for the player. It has just been re-fretted and has a new pickguard so it plays perfectly. The serial number dates to 1993 but the neck is stamped 3/10/94. It is the last of the big necks and is stamped by Herb Gastelum who made many of the Custom Shop necks from this era. This one measures approximately 92.50 hundreds of an inch at the first fret and 101.00 at the 12th fret measure using the average of three measurements with a digital calipers. The tightening wheel for the D string is a little larger than the others. The trem bar is a replacement. There is a pea size chip on the corner of the neck heal and one more near the upper strap pin. There are two chips on the back of the neck that were filled. There is a hairline lacquer only stress crack in the upper neck pocket. The guitar has various tiny nicks and dings about the body typical of a guitar this age that was played enough to need new frets. No cracks or breaks. This guitar plays great, feels great and sounds great! This guitar ships in the original Fender tweed hard shell case as shown.
