2015 Fender Jimi Hendrix Artist Series Stratocaster Black

Excellent condition featuring alder body with black finish, three American Vintage '65 single coil pickups with aged white covers, one volume controls and two tone controls with aged white skirted knobs, five position pickup selector switch with aged white tip, vintage style tremolo bridge with six individual adjustable bent steel saddles, multi-ply white pickguard, C shape maple neck with walnut backstripe, maple fingerboard with medium jumbo frets and black dot inlays starting at the third fret, 1.65" nut width, reverse Fender peghead with Fender and Stratocaster logos, six in a line vintage style Fender tuning machines, Jimi Hendrix facsimile signature and serial number on the back of the peghead, four bolt neck fastening plate with etched Authentic Hendrix logo, chrome plated metal hardware, and aftermarket gig bag. The original tremolo arm is included. This guitar weighs 8lb even.

This 2015 Fender Jimi Hendrix Artist Series Stratocaster is in excellent, virtually unplayed condition. There is a very tiny ding on the tip of the peghead, but it is otherwise in near mint cosmetic condition. The neck profile on this guitar is that of a medium sized C shape. This neck feels nice, is very comfortable and has a 9.5” radius. The fret wire shows no signs of play wear. This guitar has been professionally set up and plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The American Vintage 65 Single Coil pickups sound great in every position and have excellent clarity and articulation. This guitar sounds excellent through a clean or overdriven amplifier and the 2 and 4 positions have the quintessential Stratocaster “quack.” This instrument features vintage style hardware, a reversed peghead, a reverse slant bridge pickup, a stunning black finish, a Jimi Hendrix signature logo on the back of the peghead and a really cool Hendrix etched neck plate. A tremendous addition for any any Hendrix enthusiast and a killer playing and sounding Stratocaster as well!
