Return to the dark intensity and huge guitar sounds of the grunge rock movement with the Fender Kurt Cobain Jaguar, a new-looking version of the battered and highly unusual 1965 Jaguar that Cobain wielded during the heady early-'90s era when Nirvana ruled rock and led a musically stunning and culturally subversive movement. Built in Mexico, the Cobain Jaguar is made from an alder solidbody with a maple modern C-profile neck home to a rosewood fingerboard.
It authentically evokes the modified left-handed Jaguar that Cobain found secondhand and came to prize shortly after the recording of massive 1991 album Nevermind, complete with DiMarzio humbucking pickups — a Super Distortion DP100 at the bridge and a PAF 36th Anniversary DP103 at the neck. The special switching includes a set of lead circuit controls, rhythm circuit controls and two thumbwheel controls for the neck pickup volume and tone, along with a three-way toggle switch. Don't forget the classic floating tremolo bridge — with the Kurt Cobain Jaguar, you have everything you need to punch out a revolutionary grunge sound and style!
