1971 Fender Thinline, Natural Ash, 4-bolt, 1 of only 2 Left Handed 4-bolt Thinlines in existence! Formerly owned by John Engle and pictured in the lefty book, Uncommon Sound. EXC Condition, 100% original except for refret, new nut(old frets & nut are in the case), older non-Fender case.
The Thinline changed to the dreaded 3-bolt tilt neck in the 2nd half of 1971, and then to the Seth Lover humbuckers in 1972. I've owned a few of the Thinline II's(humbuckers), so the 1st generation Thinline(4-bolt with the traditional single-coil PUPs) is the Thinline to get, if you can find one! This is only the 2nd lefty Thinline I accounted for; the other being a 1969.
