2020 Fender Limited Edition HM Strat Ice Blue

Here we have a brand new Limited Edition HM Strat in Ice Blue. You may remember the HM Strat from the late 80s and early 90s. It was an attempt by Fender to compete with more modern metal-oriented guitars of the time, and though it wasn’t all that successful at the time of its release, it has come to be a sought after guitar by Fender/metal aficionados. We’ve sold a number of them in the shop. Now Fender has revived the HM Strat model and released it in this limited edition in four eye catching colors: Frozen Yellow, Bright White, Ice Blue, and Flash Pink.

Basic Specs: Black Gotoh tuners. Floyd Rose clamp nut measuring 1 11/16 inches. Maple neck with a 25.1 inch scale length. “Micro Tilt” adjustment and contoured heel. Maple fingerboard with dot markers and a 17 inch radius. Action is 4/64 across the board. 24 Jumbo frets. Basswood body with Poly finish. Fender HSS pickups with Alpha pots and a coil split mini-switch. Controls include a Master Volume, Tone 1 control (neck/middle pickups), and Tone 2 control (bridge pickup). Floyd Rose bridge and tremolo system.

Built in the same factory as the originals, the limited-edition HM Strat sports the same unique look and specs as the ’88-92 models of the day. Comes with a Deluxe Fender Gig Bag.
