2018 Fender LTD 50’s Telecaster Custom Aged Shell Pink

Summary: This is a Fender Custom Shop Telecaster in a beautiful aged Shell Pink finish! The custom shop certificate says the model is a “LTD 50’s Telecaster Custom” and it has recently been set up with a new set of 10’s – it plays and sounds fantastic! This guitar has been aged in the Fender factory but it was made in 2018.

Body: Solid ash body, single cutaway Telecaster with a beautiful Shell Pink finish with white binding on the top & the back! This wonderful guitar has been aged & the finish looks like an old school guitar that was well-loved – it sounds like an old beauty too! This instrument has a single-ply old school pickguard.

Neck: Flame AA QTR sawn maple neck & fingerboard with 21 frets, dot inlays, vintage style tuning keys. The neck has really wonderful grain & character throughout the back of the neck & I noticed a little bit of flame in the maple as well. This is a 4-bolt neck. The instrument has a 9.5” radius, 1.650” nut width, 25.5” scale length, bone nut.

Pickups/Hardware: 2 single coil pickups, one volume knob, one tone knob, 3-way switch, chrome hardware, 21 Sanko 6105 frets, black dot inlays, Vintage Silver Fender Tele logo,

Cosmetics: This instrument was aged at the factory & in the spec sheet body notes is says this one has a “Super faded/aged shell pink” finish. There are nicks & dings & signs of finish checking throughout adding tons of character to this beautiful guitar.

Playability: This guitar has been set up with a new set of 10’s and it plays & sounds great! The action is low & the guitar feels wonderful up & down the fingerboard.
