Fender's original prototype instruments were crafted from pine and with the 2017 Limited Edition American Professional Pine Jazzmaster, Fender has come full circle. This body wood began its functional life over 100 years ago, as part of the Buckstaff Furniture Company's facility in Oshkosh, WI before it was reclaimed, cooked and fashioned into a musical instrument. The grain, knotholes and man-made imperfections make each guitar unique, and this particular Replay Guitar Exchange instrument is really eye-catching! Pine is a lightweight wood with ringing sustain and a warm, round tone. Cooking the pine removes moisture, sweetens the tone and darkens the natural color of the wood on the body. The aged, figured maple neck features a very comfortable modern C shaped profile.

This Jazzmaster comes equipped with a pair of V-Mod single-coil Jazzmaster pickups, specially voiced, meticulously researched and crafted to reproduce vintage-inspired tone while the treble-bleed tone circuit retains high end clarity, no matter where the volume control is set. A 1-ply anodized aluminum pickguard and an engraved Limited Edition neck plate give this guitar a distinctive and classy look. This for sure is one instrument Replay Guitar Exchange is proud to sell.
