She's not the prettiest girl at the dance, but damn she can boogie! This Musicmaster dates to 1971, and has a really comfy feel to it....nicely broken in. Neck feels great, original tuners work well, action is great and really fun to play. Quite a bit of dings and play wear to the body (see pics) and it looks like someone tried to take the gloss off with some steel wool (but you have to look pretty close to notice).
Original pickup sounds great, big warm and fat! Pickguard is aftermarket, and pots are newer CTS. At some point someone hacked out some wood to presumably install a humbucker, but all that is covered up by the pickguard and not visible. Been wanting a vintage Fender player with out the hefty price tag? This is the one!
