This Fender Musicmaster Bass Amp Model CFA7010 is a hidden gem from the Silverface era, originally designed for bass but beloved by guitarists for its lush tube tone and pedal-friendly platform. Made in the 1970s in Fullerton, California, this compact combo delivers 12 watts of all-tube power through a single 12" speaker, offering vintage Fender warmth, clarity, and just the right amount of natural breakup at manageable volumes.
Featuring simple volume and tone controls, the Musicmaster Bass Amp is perfect for studio sessions, small gigs, or home use. Its unique tone has made it a favorite among indie and blues players who appreciate its versatility, portability, and unmistakably vintage voice.
The amp came in with a horrible replacement speaker, so I added the Eminence Legend, which is a great addition to the amp.
The transformers are original, the tubes likely are as well and we tested them all. The amp has received a cap job before it arrived here. This amp is good to go.
