1978 Fender Musicmaster Bass Black, Excellent, Soft, $799.00

Another one of these great basses for sale! This is a great playing and sounding Musicmaster Bass, all original with a well-padded gig bag. 7.8 Lbs. Overall a nice example of these short scale basses, with a nicely figured rosewood fretboard that looks like Brazilian, but I can't guarantee that. Not sure of the exact year, but it looks like 1978 is close. Frets have some light rutting to the first six frets, but nothing that would impact performance, more a sign of being used. The short scale makes it a fun easy to play bass. Some random nicks and dings, with one ding near the input jack, and another on the back, visible in photos. Some random worming spots on the back, along with an area 4" x 2"near the neck plate that has very fine checking on the back. Electronics and pickup are original and untouched.
