1965 Fender Mustang Red

An incredible sounding Mustang, this clean and fully original 1965 example features a dark rosewood board and a beautiful red finish. The pair of switches turn the original single coil pickups on and off, and can also provide the pair in series or parallel, offering a wide variety of sounds. Combined with the great-playing short-scale neck and Fender "Dynamic" tremolo unit, these guitars have become a favorite of alternative and indie rock players, but are equally suited to surf rock and a ton of other styles. Designed as student instruments, these have proven to be fantastic playing vintage guitars.
