This 1966 Mustang model in white finish, with slab laminated rosewood fingerboard and B-neck.
This model was introduced in 1964 as a Student model and is still popular today as a signature Fender short scale guitar.
The neck date is 16JAN66, the pot date is '66 and the pickups are equipped with grey bobbins with no date, believed to be original.
The bridge cover is missing.
The guitar shows signs of age and use, with discoloration throughout the body, numerous paint chips and floating to the back of the neck and body, and dents and scuffs throughout the body.
It has been re-fretted and re-nutted, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
