Summary: The Mustang was created as a mid-line model between the student grade DuoSonic and the professional Telecaster. This CBS era example is a nice playing vintage guitar.
Body: Alder offset body. Olympic white finish.
Neck: Maple with rosewood fretboard and pearloid dot markers. Short (24”) scale. Larger CBS era headstock.
Pickups/Hardware: Two single coil pickups. Tremolo bridge. Replacement Schaller tuners. Red tortoise pickguard. Original on/off/on pickup switches. One volume and one tone control (black witch hat knobs) on separate jack plate.
Cosmetics: This guitar has great character with heavy checking on the aged finish. There is playwear on the neck and on the top in the forearm area.
Playability: The action is set low and the short scale neck makes fretting a breeze, especially for folks with shorter fingers. Tone is classic Fender: bright, snappy and surfy.
Mods/Repairs: Replacement Schaller tuners.
Weight: 7 lbs, 12 0z.
Case: Original hard shell.
