Used 2008 Fender Nashville B-Bender Telecaster serial number Z8234192.

This guitar is in near mint condition, neck and frets are fine, cosmetically showing little playing time. The tuning machines were upgraded to Fender locking tuners, the remainder of the instrument is original.

The Fender Nashville B-Bender Tele Electric Guitar is a blend of two modifications that have been made to Teles over the years. The Nashville Tele, modeled after the personally customized guitars of some of Nashville's top players, which adds a Strat pickup in the middle position between the two Tele pickups. And the Parsons-White StringBender, developed by Gene Parsons and Clarence White while in the last incarnation of The Byrds.

In 1989, when demand overtook his production capacity, Parsons partnered with Meridian Green to outsource the production of the kits. Green also approached Fender again, and the Fender Custom Shop began producing a Clarence White signature model custom Telecaster equipped with the Parsons/White StringBender. Parsons and Green revised the design again, and in 1996 Fender began production of the Nashville B-Bender Telecaster incorporating the Parsons/Green StringBender.

The B-Bender device raises the pitch of the second (B) string by one whole step (two frets) to C-sharp. The bend is activated by a one-inch downward pull on the guitar neck, allowing the player to emulate pedal steel and play complex country bends.

This versatile instrument can open new worlds of music to you. In addition to the Parsons/Green B-Bender system Fender added a Texas
Special Strat pickup in the middle position and 5-way Strat-o-Tele switching.
