1992 Fender Custom Shop Neck-Through Stratocaster Sunburst

Here's a killer Strat that bridges both worlds. In your hands is feels like your old best friend. Comfy body contours, great balance, and the knife-edge trem and roller nut are smooth as ever. The first thing you'll notice is the ridiculously low and easy action. Yep, the neck-through-body construction along with medium sized frets and 12" fingerboard radius mean you can get the action nice and low and still bend much as you want. Fender's Custom Shop went all out and used some deep quilted maple on the top so the sunburst makes it looks like it's on fire! The guitar is in great shape, the only things that make it looks it's true age would be the hardware which shows years of gigging. It's got a swimming pool route and the guard is a little roughly cut around the neck joint so it may have been modded after the fact. It could be stock as Fender's Custom Shop will make just about anything requested. Unique electronics set-up with the Lace Sensor pickups that each have their own 3-way toggle, giving you even more tonal options than the normal Strat 5-way. It's got a Red + Blue in the bridge spot; the neck ones are unclear as they paint has worn away, but probably Gold or Silver or maybe one of each.
