A rare model of the first ever fretted bass, the now ubiquitous Precision Bass. This one came to us painted with a brush everywhere with brown paint. We were able to remove the paint and were surprised to find the original finish underneath. HInts of the brown paint remain but it is an original bass with original pickguard, covers, pickup and pots. Logo was destroyed so it sports a believable repro logo. The bass could use frets and has wooden saddles. Otherwise original pickup with original windings, original black fiber pickguard make this a super cool light weight piece of history with a non original hard case.
