Description

We’ve got ourselves a deal! This 1952 Fender Precision bass refinished in butterscotch blonde is just one of the many Fender basses to walk in recently. We are loaded to the gills with Fender Basses! Our online store is gonna look like we’re documenting Precisions! This is probably the best deal of the lot! They first started manufacturing and selling Precisions basses in 1951 which means this one is from the second year of production. Truly a revolutionary design by Leo Fender, it was made to keep up with the volume of modern bands but also combat some of the transportation issues of the big Double Bass as well as the intonation problems which could occur (which is why he made it a fretted instrument and named it Precision, denoting the accuracy of the note). This particular ’52 Precision has been refinished and had a new decal added to it. It also has been lightly contoured on the top bout as it goes into the middle of the body towards the top horn. Lastly it’s missing its bridge and pick up covers. Everything else is all original. It comes with its original tweed hardshell case. An exceptional bass at a great price this one wont last long!
