1956 Fender Precision Bass "Sunburst"

These instruments don't show up for sale often! An early example of a "Contoured Body" Precision bass, this beautiful example from 1956 features a stunning two-tone Sunburst finish over an ash body with the perfect "V" shaped maple neck and "Telecaster" style headstock. The single pickup delivers a surprisingly versatile array of great tones; this is very similar to the instruments favored by Sting in the Police.
