Here is an original 1964 Fender Precision Bass that has been refinished Natural. It's light and resonant and a fantastic for the player who is looking for a good PRE-CBS P-Bass for a nice price.
The neck and body are both original 1964, but the pickups and electronics are newer Fender vintage '58 Re-Issue P-Bass pickups. The pickguard is vintage, but it's later 60s. The neck plays amazing. The fretboard has been replaced with a newer Rosewood fretboard, perhaps this is why the bass plays so great. Neck date is 5 NOV 64C. It's got that big fat C neck....we love it that way!
Neck is straight and true with no buzz or issues all the way up and down. It's set up real well with a new set of strings and it's ready for gigging.
Bass is super light and resonant and just an all around great one. The pickups are warm and thumpy with classic Precision Bass tone. A killer rock and roll bass.
Comes with vintage two tone white hardshell case, which is quite beat up but functional.
