This is an outstanding all original late-60’s made Precision Bass in excellent played-in shape, its has an original Sunburst finish over an Alder body that’s got tons of a nicotine patina goin on from many years of club dates, its Rosewood neck is full sized like its so famous for & has a stamped neck date of June 1969, its original Tortoise-shell Nitro pickgard pulls this all together making it one of Fender’s best CBS made basses ever produced, its pickup is super smooth w/that quintessential “James Jamerson” sound !, its pot codes date to the 42nd week of 1966 & are cloth wired w/that mid60’s tone !, its so cool & original from its original tuners to its 4 saddle bridge, this Precision Bass is from the final leftovers from Leo’s earliest days & has a groovy patina for a 50 year old Gal, it plays & feels incredible, other than the pen marks on the side of the neck by its 1st owner, she’s still very good overall & comes in its original Black Tolex Hard Case.
