This has to be the finest “Custom Color” vintage Precision Bass in existence, the quintessential under the bed find, its Lake Placid Blue finish is like a new Bass hanging in a shop for 6 months, its has no wear, no discoloration & no weatherchecking, its rosewood neck is also like new having not a spec of yellowing to its white maple back & its headstock, neck dates to June 1969 & pot codes are dated the 42nd week of 1966 as most Fenders from this period are, its white pickgard looks perfect, its chrome parts shine like new, we can honestly call this P Bass near mint, but it is as close to new as we have ever seen since it was 1969, it comes with its manual, strap, tags, cloth in its bag & a set of strings all in its original hard case.
