This Fender Precision Bass is in nice shape overall. Neck and frets are fine, no issues. Cosmetically there is finish checking, and a few "gouges" in the bottom edge of the lower bout. The pickguard has been replaced with a "WD" unit and the intonation spring on the "G string" is non-original.
This instrument shows that it has been played and is ready for more action.

Volumes could be written about the significance of the P-Bass, let's just say, that it has been, and in many aspects continues to be, the benchmark standard.
Many would agree, there is no substitute for an American made early Precision Bass, these workhorses just don't quit. If you do not have an early P-Bass in your collection, you might want to consider grabbing one !
