1981 Fender Precision Bass Maui Blue

This bass was a part of Fender International series which was a limited run of special finishes they did from 1979-1981! The blue looks stunning against the beautiful maple neck and white pick guard.. Every bassist needs a great P-bass, why not make it Maui Blue? Killer action, fast neck, big Precision tone, tons of sustain, what more do you need?

Specs! This bass is all original except for a single tone cap. F labeled nick tuners. Nut width measures 1-5/8″. One piece maple neck with a depth measuring .82″ at the first fret and .95″ at the 12th fret. 34″ scale length. Maple finger board with original 20 large frets in very good condition. Action measures 6/64″ straight across. Alder body finish in the rare Maui Blue. Light player wear on the finish. Original Precision bass pick ups. Original wiring with a single replaced orange drop capacitor. Original bridge. Comes with its original hard shell case. Weighs 10 pounds exactly.

This bass was made for the stage! All of its appointments match up perfectly leaving the eye pleasantly satisfied. Would make an amazing bass for an 80s cover band (yacht rock!)!
