What a massive sounding amp. Here we have a somewhat rare 1964 pre Dual Showman head and cabinet, with a 15" JBL and tone ring. Rated 80 watts with 4 6L6 output tubes. I have never had one, and only seen a few in person. Very clean amp! Original transformers, tone components and speakers, original filter caps and gray 2 prong ac cable. The leads going from the input jacks to the preamp tubes have been replaced with shielded wire (original wire still in place) and a ground resoldered off the power transformer, but otherwise this amp is just like it left the factory in 1964. I would recommend a grounded AC cable and taking the ground switch out of the circuit, and will be glad to include doing that in the cost, but a lot of you Black Face Fender nuts are all about originality (I'm one) so it it's not broken I generally leave it for the person buying it to make the call. I mean, it has the original gray AC cable! But I would do it. Tremolo sounds great, this is a classic and makes you understand why old Black Face Fender amps are so highly regarded. All the component date codes we see are 1964, and has a 1964 stamp on the chassis. The NG stamp on the label puts it at July 1964. No footswitch, but shorting plug to make the tremolo work is included, or bring a single footswitch and we will put an RCA jack on it for you. We don't see them that often that aren't all boogered up. We have the original cabinet cover, but for whatever reason it doesn't want to go on anymore, like it shrunk 1/4 inch or something, but it's included, and a generic cover for the head. Newer output tubes. Shipping this big cabinet is going to be rough, prefer a pickup. Thanks for looking!
