Description

Like loud amps? 85 watts of tube driven goodness through the best speaker cabinet Fender ever made. The "tone ring" design was used in the early "piggy back" amps but was phased out (too expensive to make) in all amps except the single Showman by 1963. The Showman 15 is the pinnacle of clean tube amps. The speaker is a JBL D130F which handles 85 watts with one hand tied behind its back. This is the surf players dream amp-add a reverb unit and Dick Dale appears in your dreams. Really. This is an early (March) 1965 (Fender Electric) made just before CBS took over and began to make changes. The amp was just serviced and is gig ready. You can find these for less $$ but after you get the maintenance done (and they all need it if you want to gig) you'll have spent the same amount. This saves you a trip to the tech. No shipping on this amp. It's too freakin' big.
