I received this neck exactly as it is now, so I'm not sure its exact origins. It is a 1988 Fender 57 Reissue (ST-357V) that is scalloped from the 12th fret to the 21st fret. The scallop is between light and medium. Grover tuners where installed aftermarket on this. The previous owner noted he thought this came from some kind of Yngwie Malmsteen strat, but I have no way to confirm this. or any indication of this otherwise. I would assume the scallop is aftermarket, but I can not say for sure.
There is no nut, there is holes for two string trees, but only one is currently installed. Frets are the smaller, thinner vintage style. They do show some wear but are very playable. Necks shows light wear but is overall in nice shape for its age,
