This Strat plays and sounds great! This is a really solid '57 reissue Stratocaster with a great neck profile, and fantastic craftsmanship as you would expect from Fender Japan. This is an earlier example with an "E" serial.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years. There's some scratches and dents on the front and back of the body and there's also some pretty significant scuffing around the back spring plate. There's also a few small dings on the headstock as well. The color of the pickups and volume/tone knobs have yellowed over time. The frets show some wear around the edges but otherwise play great and the electronics work as they should.
The back spring plate has been replaced otherwise this guitar appears to be all original.
