~2007 Fender Sting Signature Bass (1953 reissue) Sunburst

Summary: Built by Fuji-Gen in Japan, this Fender ‘Sting’ Precision Bass Reissue is a resonant and classic addition to the Fender lineup. It has a great sounding old school single coil pickup and the vintage sunburst finish looks great on the solid ash body. It has a few nicks and dings but is in overall great condition and is-playing wonderfully after our luthier gave it a pro setup. It ships in its original hard-shell case.

Body: Solid light ash contoured body with a 2 tone vintage sunburst finish.

Neck: Maple neck & fingerboard with a full C shape, 20 frets, 34” scale length, 1.625” nut width, synthetic bone nut, vintage style reverse geared tuners, black dots and “Sting” signature inlay at 12th fret.

Pickups/Hardware: Chrome hardware, one single coil pickup, one volume knob, one tone knob, open back tuning keys, single-ply white pickguard and vintage style 2 saddle string-through-the-body bridge.

Cosmetics: This instrument is in great shape & doesn’t show a lot of wear. There are a few small dings around the edges of the headstock & a few small dings on the back of the neck but it doesn’t affect playability. There is one big gouge on the back of the instrument as you can see in the photos.

Playability: This is a wonderful playing instrument – the action is low & the neck feels great up & down the fingerboard.
