Description

This is an early 1959 Fender Strat that has come up for sale for the very first time. This is a one-owner Strat that has spent the last 40+ years in its case. It is an early 1959 Strat in beautiful and vibrant 3-tone sunburst with a maple neck. The guitar has never been apart until this week so we could take some pictures and verify everything as correct – and boy is it correct: a totally unmolested vintage Strat!

Dates:

Body: 12-58
Neck: 3-59
Neck Plate: 36795

This guitar was played sparingly early in its life, and then put away. There is very little fret wear on the first few frets. There is some wear to the body on the back of the upper horn, some minor arm wear on the front, and some slight worming on the back. The neck has one nick on the back, but the front does not show any wear discoloration that you would typically associate with 50s maple Strat necks. Pickups are very strong – a very potent Strat indeed! And this Strat has that perfect weight between 7 - 7 1/2 lbs: 7 lbs, 6 oz!

Includes Original Tweed Hardshell Case in clean condition(check out the side leather in the pics), plus the original trem arm and bridge cover.
Clean one-owner, original unmolested 50s Strats are out there, they’re just getting harder and harder to find!

More pics available upon request for the serious buyer!
