1954 Fender Stratocaster

We found this original and rare ‘54 Fender Stratocaster that needed some love and taking care of.
For starters the body was refinished in a very nasty three color sunburst, but it was really cool that it had no extra routings or mods or over sanding. We contacted the might Dan at and we were lucky enough he agreed to take on the job! The resust was a gorgeous 2 tone sunburst, retaining both 54 dates on spring and electronics cavities.
The body is Ash and one piece!
In the case we found the original raised D pole pickups but all three had to be rewound, this job was masterfully done by . The original pots did not make it and guitar now has installed vintage pots but unoriginal to guitar. The hardware all appears original as it it came with the guitar except the saddles that had corroded beyond repair. The single play pickguard was unmolested but all the other bakelite parts had disintegrated. We contacted for a complete set of pickups covers, knobs, switch tip and back plate. Unbelievable how exact these copies are.
The neck was refinished and had a replaced decal. It has the early maple wooden plug for the trussrod, it has its original 54 pencil date and has all original tuners but one, the tuner has the correct no line kluson cover but the rest of it is a PAT APPL ‘56 Tuner.
