Description

We’re incredibly proud to have this very early production 1954 Fender Stratocaster in its original Sunburst finish! This example has a neck and body date of January 1954 and potentiometer dates from 1952. In fact, this is the fourth serialized Stratocaster, as you can see by the guitar’s serial number 0103. Only 200 Stratocasters received a tremolo cover serial number, starting with 0100. The guitar is beautifully worn from years of love and use, with some fret wear in the cowboy chord area, but it is very much playable for years to come! These tuners were changed at some point, leaving some extra holes. Currently, this guitar sports a mid-60s pair of double-line Klusons.

Overall Condition: 6.5, well-worn edges with paint wear throughout
