1957 Fender V-Neck Stratocaster, certainly one of the most iconic Fender Vintage guitars. This guitar features a refinished body and neck, though retains most of its original parts.

The guitar has its original pickups, pick guard, bridge and saddles, tuners, string tree, strap buttons, knobs, and jack cup. The 3 way switch is not original to the guitar but is a period correct 50's CRL.

Reproduction parts include pots, and trem cover. Pots are high quality CTS replacements, which turn super smooth and give the guitar zero tone degradation commonly found on original pots.

The neck has been radiused to 9.5" and has been refretted with slightly larger frets than the originals, which makes the guitar a far better player, especially with bending strings in the upper register. No fretting out. Hole for extra string tree has been filled, however, there are no extra tuner holes or any enlargement of the shaft holes in the neck. Original Klusons have always been on the guitar.

This guitar has the fabulous Bell Tone that these 50's V-Neck Strats are known for.

The neck date is 4-57, body date is 5/57. Serial number is -19XXX. This is a very light Strat at 7.1 lbs. with trem bar attached. V-Neck measures .813" at 1st fret, and .911" at 12th fret. Original pickups measure, neck to bridge, 5.5K, 5.6K, 5.5K Ohms, excellent vintage readings.

Satisfaction guaranteed. Keep the guitar for 48 hours and if not fully satisfied, return for a full refund minus shipping charges.
