1959 Fender Stratocaster
Examined in person at Gruhn Gutiars earlier this year, guitar had an extra modern cap added and we removed it. Replaced volume pot, and a 5 way switch, all else original with great sounding original pickups
This is a rare era with a single pickguard and thick rosewood slab. Both body and neck refin, the body refin is gorgeous, the decal is a replacement, there is a small hole that connects trem cavity with middle pickup, possibly for a screw or more cables. Guitar has been refretted with medium jumbo frets and it plays phenemenal, the pickups are very agressive and retain original windings and leads. Weights 7.3 in our scale
