1959 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst One Owner Maple Neck Original Case & Tags

1959 Fender Maple Neck Sunburst Stratocaster. Original owner. Original Case, with Tags. You have to love "Les" at 21 years of age. Priceless...!!! She weighs in at 7.22 pounds. We left the owner's name "Les" on the beautiful single ply 8 screw pickguard and found "Mel's" named penciled under the guard. There are pros and cons about a slab board neck versus a maple neck. It being a "4/59' very early maple neck, there's just nothing better or rarer out there Strat wise for sale. The finish has a nice fading three tone sunburst that most certainly catches the eye. It has the original frets that have plenty of playing time left on them. As you can see in the detailed pics of the body and neck, it does have some play wear as one would expect, but absolutely no abuse. Old "Les" just loved this guitar and it was tough for him to part with it. In all my years in business you couldn't have met a nicer man. He did send a letter that said just make sure it gets into the right hands and I told him that I will certainly do that for sure. Nothing has been touched on this guitar inside or out. Again it comes with the tags "and" even the original ashtray. You don't find them like this anymore and has the best Strat tone that I have heard in a long time.
