Description

A remarkably clean and original 1959 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst! The Stratocaster saw a few changes towards the end of the 50s, such as the addition of red to the traditional sunburst to create the three-tone sunburst. The original single-ply 8 screw pickguard is featured on this guitar, while Fender would soon switch to multi-ply guards later in 1959. The finish is in phenomenal shape, with no fading in the red, and hardly any wear on the maple neck itself. The neck profile is a delightful C carve, and the original frets are in great condition! The action is incredibly comfortable, and the guitar rings out extremely loud on its own! The three well balanced pickups give the guitar a great amplified tone, with a 6.23K in the bridge, 6.29K in the middle, and 6.03K in the neck position.

It weighs in at 7 lbs 15 oz, and comes with original Fender polish cloth, leather strap, and original tweed Fender case.
