1959 was the first year of a rosewood slab board for a Stratocaster. The rosewood slab board ran from 1959 to 1962. The '59 Strat pictured here is a very clean, no issue example of a great first year rosewood slab board Stratocaster. The original 3-way selector switch is in the case; it was replaced with a 5-way switch.
Includes original Fender hang-tag and ash tray.
It comes with its original brown case.
