This is a great Fender Stratocaster, made in the USA in 1961. It has a beautiful 100% original blond finish. The body is ash and puts the guitar a very comfortable 7 lbs 8 oz. Everything is original except that there is one extra screw hole under the pickguard and some of the existing pickguard screwholes look like they were filled and then redrilled which usually happens when the screw holes are stretched by a shrinking pickgard. It's possible the guitar had a different pickguard at one time but the original (or era correct) is back on it now. The neck measures 1 5/8" wide at the nut, 2" wide at the 12th fret, .790" deep at the 1st fret and .970" at the 12th fret so it has that classic 1961 Fender Thin C profile. The pickups read 5.1K for the neck, 5.5K for the middle and 5.4K for the bridge. This is a fantastic guitar that is exceptionally rare and just a monster of a player to boot. We have this one a great pro-setup so its ready to roll and it comes with the original case.
