Description

This 1962 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst is original and so stunning! This particular example is in fantastic condition, with just some light wear and no fading to its bright finish whatsoever! The plastic components and rich rosewood fretboard look nearly untouched, with just a light patina on the clay dots and veneer. The maple on the back of the neck has a subtle figure that shimmers in the light, and it feels remarkably comfortable in hand to boot! To keep this beauty playing as good as it looks, it has seen a professional refret with a vintage-sized wire that was so well done; you almost can’t tell it isn’t original. All three single-coil pickups are very closely balanced and sound absolutely incredible amped up. Even acoustically, this guitar is thunderous and resonant! If you’re looking for an original pre-CBS Stratocaster that sounds and plays as good as it looks, look no further, as this is the one!

Overall Condition: 9.5, light playwear
