1962 Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, made in USA; Body: three-tone sunburst poly refinish, many lacquer cracks, rubbing to edges, further dings and marks, both gold and Fiesta red paint remnants within cavities indicating that this could have originally been a custom colour Strat; Neck: twenty-one fret rosewood slab board neck, back refinished with lacquer cracks and other blemishes present, head face also refinished, decals appear original, '2MAR62B' date stamp to neck end, fretboard worn particularly to the first and second positions with grooves present; Frets: very worn; Electrics: working, bridge and neck pickup original, middle pickup original but rewound, original three-way switch, original potentiometers and disc capacitor, electrics appear to be working; Hardware: original single line Kluson Deluxe tuners with lacquer present to surface, replacement strap button to body horn, pickguard appears to be original although painted black and bearing 'MM' monogram, original tin shield present, replacement control knobs, other hardware appears original including 1962 five digit serial neck plate; Case: later shaped hard case; Weight: 3.56kg; Overall condition: fair
