Description

A lot of players feel that the 63 is among the best. The neck profile had gotten rather slim in the early 60's but by 63, the profile had gotten back to a medium profile. It's still fairly slim at the first fret (.82") but gets pretty big by the 12th (.96"). And, you sure don't see a lot of seafoam green finished guitars. This 63 is all original except for a refinish in, yes, seafoam green. The neck was not refinished and the frets look to be original. I didn't get much history of this guitar but from what I can see, the only issue beyond the body only refinish is it appears that the middle pickup has been rewound. If it hasn't been, then lucky you. Trem arm and ash tray are original too. Neck date of 12/62 and body date of 12/62. If this is a color you've been searching for and you don't have tens of thousands of dollars for an original SF green Strat, this one might be your answer. The paint work is quite good and the color looks accurate to my eye. Original brown case.
