I don't throw the term mint around easily. Mint means mint and I'm stretching that only slightly as the guitar has one little chip by the neck pocket and another at the edge. But Candy Apple Red chips when you look at it, so I'm still going to call it mint. I initially was told this was a 64 (green guard, clay dots, trans logo) but once I opened it, I saw the pickups were dated 3-65, so it's a 65. The neck is dated Sept. 64. The color is stunning. The guitar looks brand new. Only the case gives away its age. It's a great player. The three way is a little stiff from not being played much but that allows you to get the "in between" tones more easily. I don't think anyone will be gigging a mint 65 Strat though. It is all original and includes the original trem arm and bridge cover. A little case candy-original strap, coil cord (probably not from Fender), some vintage strings and both case keys.
