Description

Feast your eyes on this rare and early maple cap fretboard! This 1965 Fender Stratocaster comes in its original Fiesta Red finish. 1965 was the first year Fender offered a maple cap fretboard in their catalog, as this feature wasn’t officially released as a production standard until 1966. This particular guitar was clearly played over the years, shown through the honest wear on the body and edges of the fretboard. The original transition logo on the headstock is completely intact, as are these original double-line Kluson tuners. This guitar retains its original vintage frets, but the nut was professionally replaced for proper action and playability. Between this smooth neck/fretboard edges and three well-voiced single coil pickups, this guitar is really all you need to play any style of music!

Overall Condition: 8, tummy contour wear, fretboard edge wear, patina, weather checking
