1965 Fender Stratocaster Fiesta Red, Good, Original Hard, $19,500.00

This is a wonderful vintage Stratocaster and the body sports an original custom color fiesta red finish. While the finish is original, the guitar itself is a bit of a frankenstein, albeit with almost all period correct parts. The person we obtained it from told us that when he obtained the guitar it was fitted with a floyd rose tremolo and non original pickups. Additionally the original neck has multiple extra holes in the headstock. Because the finish was original and the body largely unmodified he decided to obtain original unmolested parts to restore the guitar. The neck is a December 64 neck with original finish. The pickup harness is in good shape and dates to 1965, and the pots date 1964. All parts are from 1964-1965. The neckplate is the original plate that came with the body. There was some very light routing to accommodate the Floyd. There is shielding in the cavities, but they were not routed. All in all this is a very cool strat with a rare custom color finish. There is lots of play wear, but this is a monster player and it sounds tremendous. The guitar comes with an original hard shell case.
