Description

Vintage original 1965 Fender Stratocaster in a killer vintage Lake Placid Blue re-finish. It is extremely hard to tell that the finish is not original. Besides the finish and the pickup switch, the guitar is completely original and correct.

Neck is dated 13 DEC 65 B, so it was one of the last of the Stratocasters made in 1965. Large headstock, end of '65. Original grey bottom pickups sound killer. Original wiring with a replaced Fender 5-way switch, pots are date coded 1965.

The finish looks amazing. Has the correct white undercoat and look and would fool even an expert.

Neck is straight and plays great all the way up and down without buzz or issue. Body is light and resonant. Has great sustain. Vibrato works well and guitar stays in tune.

This is a crazy cool vintage Strat with a great look and vibe and incredible tone - don't miss it!

Comes with vintage original case, too.
